Twenty years of chartered physiotherapy in Biddulph
Biddulph Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic is a private practice established in 2005, offering an extensive range of treatments for musculoskeletal conditions.
We aim to provide the highest standard of care possible. That standard is maintained through membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and Physio First (the Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice), and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
Treatment is led by Mark Chadwick BSc MCSP and Julia Chadwick BSc MCSP.

Your first appointment is a thorough assessment. What follows is chosen to suit your diagnosis, not a fixed formula.
Electrotherapy
Ultrasound and interferential therapy to help with pain, swelling, spasm and healing.
Acupuncture
Used alone or alongside physiotherapy where your assessment shows it is appropriate.
Exercise rehabilitation
Graded, individual programmes to rebuild strength, range and confidence.
Core stability training
Targeted work to support the spine and reduce recurring back and neck pain.

Practical changes at your desk, in the car and at work to stop symptoms returning.
Getting started
What to expect from your first visit
- 45–60 minutes. Enough time to take a full history of your symptoms and examine you properly.
- A physical assessment of your posture, muscle balance, range of movement, power, stability and function.
- A clear explanation of what we think is going on and what treatment can realistically achieve.
- Treatment on the day, plus a plan and any exercises you need to carry on at home.
